Mobiz Accounts is operated by BlueWave Technologies Ltd, trading as Mobiz.mu (BRN C26236346), Royal Rd, Petit Raffray, Mauritius ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with the Mobiz Accounts service, in line with the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017.
1. What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number and the business details you provide (company name, BRN, VAT number, address). When you use the service, your organisation's own business data — clients, suppliers, invoices, payments, products and accounting records — is stored on our systems on your behalf.
2. How we use it
We use your data to provide the service, verify and process bank-transfer subscription payments, respond to support requests, and send account-related communications (password resets, renewal reminders, service notices). We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Tenant data isolation
Each customer organisation's data is isolated at the database level. Staff access to a customer's business data is limited to what is required to operate and support the service, and is never used for any purpose unrelated to providing Mobiz Accounts to you.
4. Data retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your organisation remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting and legal record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to any statutory retention requirements that apply to financial records in Mauritius.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@mobiz.mu. We will respond within a reasonable time.
